And that is the perpetual candle that you raise before God, as it is written “Command the Israelite people to bring you clear oil of beaten olives for lighting, for kindling lamps regularly. ״So the perpetual candle must always light in olive oil, and thus one achieves the fulfilment of “Your lamp is in My hand” and is saved from a decree of destruction as he is always in the hand of the Holy One Blessed be He.
